At The Audiobook Experience, our producers work closely with authors and publishers to bring stories to life in audio. Writers and publishers from across the United States trust our team to give voice to their stories with care, expertise, and respect for the author’s vision. From your very first conversation, you’ll be met with professionalism, curiosity, and warmth. If we’re the right fit, you’ll know. We can’t wait to talk with you—and hear your story.
Mary Catherine delights in working with authors to bring their stories into the world—either guiding them as they narrate their own work or helping them find the perfect professional voice for their audiobook. From manuscript preparation to the final master, Mary Catherine supports every step of the production process, ensuring that each project is handled with care, clarity, and attention to detail.

The Audiobook Experience studio records audiobooks in ProTools, with Soundforge as an additional DAW for certain projects. We use AudioTechnica 2035 mics through a Tascam US 366 Interface. We can connect with additional studios and directors with sound patch or Source Connect.
The Audiobook Experience is a certified Woman Owned Small Business, member of the Audio Publishers Association, World Voices Organization, Editorial Freelancers Association, Author’s Guild, NonFiction Authors Association, Independent Book Publishers Association, and Vermont Association of Broadcasters.

Audiobook Narrator Casting and Production - First we ask questions to understand what YOU are listening for in a potential narrator. Then we send you the best auditions. Together we listen and decide. Once the project is cast, we keep you informed during the entire process until your audiobook is complete!
Author-Recording: Our custom built studio is designed to make you feel right at home. When you are behind the mic, all you have to focus on is re-engaging with the words you wrote to bring them from the page into the world in your own, unique voice. Our job is to record you, encourage you, and make sure you sound like yourself - on your very best day.
